Hey, My name is Sam.

I'm a software developer based in Victoria, BC. I started programming when I joined the University of Victoria in 2019. Since then I have been driven by a curiosity to learn and desire to work on projects that help me grow my knowledge and skills. Recently, I've been diving into distributed systems and learning about the challenges and tradeoffs of building scalable systems. Whether it's building web applications, diving into complex systems, or exploring new domains, I want to create work that is not only functional but also meaningful and impactful. When I'm not coding, I'm probably reading, climbing or cooking.
